We are sunsetting the Personalized Video beta product from HeyGen Labs on Jan 15th, 2025.

We are sunsetting the standalone Personalized Video product from HeyGen Labs. We have learned a lot by launching the Personalized Video beta product. Ultimately, we believe we can offer a more cohesive user experience by integrating the personalized video capability into HeyGen’s core product suite.

As part of this change, we are temporarily deprioritizing migrating the following features into HeyGen’s core product:

• Email sending (users will be responsible for handling email delivery)
• CSV upload (users can use Google Sheets + Zapier as an alternative)
• Scrolling website video template
• Upload existing video (aka Hybrid mode)

FAQ

Can I create unlimited personalized videos?

Unlimited video creation is only available via the HeyGen web app pricing. Creating personalized videos via Zapier/API is subject to HeyGen’s HeyGen API pricing plan.

Will HeyGen handle sending emails?

We are removing the email sending functionality moving forward. Instead, HeyGen will focus on 1) generating the videos 2) returning the generated videos back to you. Users can use their own CRM/marketing automation platform (e.g. HubSpot) to deliver the personalized videos via email.

Can I create personalized videos by uploading a CSV?

We are temporarily removing the upload CSV functionality from the HeyGen web experience. If you would like to create personalized videos by uploading a CSV, you can connect a Google Sheet with HeyGen via Zapier. See this tutorial:

Can I upload an existing video and change part of the script for personalization (aka “Hybrid Mode”)?

We are temporarily removing support for uploading existing videos to create personalized videos. We recommend using one of your existing Instant Avatars to create personalized videos moving forward.
