The standalone Personalized Video beta product from HeyGen Labs was sunset on Jan 15th, 2025. After running the beta, HeyGen decided to integrate the personalized video capabilities into the core product suite for a more cohesive experience.

As part of this change, the following features are no longer supported in HeyGen

• Email sending (You can generate videos and deliver them using your own CRM or marketing automation platform (e.g., HubSpot, Mail Merge). See the Integrations Workflow for guidance.
• CSV upload (users can use Google Sheets + Zapier as an alternative). See Generate personalized videos from template via Google Sheets + Zapier for further guidance.
• Scrolling website video template
• Upload existing video (aka Hybrid mode)

FAQs

Can I create unlimited personalized videos?

Unlimited video creation is only available via the HeyGen web app pricing. Creating personalized videos via Zapier/API is subject to HeyGen’s HeyGen API pricing plan.

Can I create personalized videos by uploading a CSV?

We have temporarily removed the upload CSV functionality from the HeyGen web experience. If you would like to create personalized videos by uploading a CSV, you can connect a Google Sheet with HeyGen via Zapier. See this tutorial:

Can I upload an existing video and change part of the script for personalization (aka “Hybrid Mode”)?

We have temporarily removed support for uploading existing videos to create personalized videos. We recommend using one of your existing Instant Avatars to create personalized videos moving forward.
