Custom Instant Avatar not appearing in v2/avatars API response
Hey everyone! I’ve successfully created and uploaded a custom Instant Avatar via the HeyGen web dashboard, and it's working perfectly there. However, when I call the GET /v2/avatars endpoint, my custom avatar is nowhere to be found in the list—only the stock public avatars are showing up.

When I try to generate a video using the image asset "5c5b43b2626f462db8925aaae0486866", I get an error stating "No face detected in the image image/5c5b43b2626f462db8925aaae0486866/original".
https://api.heygen.com/v2/avatars is not responding
Issue: The GET https://api.heygen.com/v2/avatars endpoint is not responding — requests often remain in a pending state. When testing with Postman, it sometimes responds. This may be related to the response size (around 3.5 MB).
Avatar ID returns “Avatar not found” after editing avatar in UI
When I edit an existing avatar in the HeyGen UI (background, visual elements) and then copy the avatar ID, the API (/v2/video/generate) returns “Avatar not found”.
Using the original avatar ID (before editing) works.
