I'm creating videos via the API. Something that has stumped me is how do specify using the background that's used by default by the Avatar from the Library. For example, I want to use "Annie_Desk_Sitting_Front_public" who is sitting at a desk with an office background. I want to KEEP that same background but how do I specify that via the “background” parameter in the API?

We’re using the Heygen API to generate short videos (usually 20–30 seconds), which are then displayed within our custom app. We noticed that the direct video URLs sometimes stream in-browser as expected, but other times they trigger an automatic download instead.

I would like to know if there is any method in the JS SDK to receive the avatar's responses in chunks, in order to provide a smoother and more real-time experience — for example, displaying subtitles progressively as the avatar "speaks", rather than write the full text.

avatar.createStartAvatar establish a connection , but video keeps on loading and idletimeout completes and connection is disconnected

I am on the Creator Plan. When I generate a manual Avatar video I can disable the watermark in the bottom right hand corner of the output video. However, when I trigger an Avatar video via an API, the Heygen watermark is displayed in the bottom right corner of the video. I am setting the "test" parameter to false. How can I eliminate the Heygen watermark from API-triggered avatar videos.

HI I am using the API and generating videos. How can I select the Frame Rate for the output video ?

Do you have or are you planning on building the ability for users to create a video avatar, including any form of consent required, via API? What is the best way to do this programatically if I want to do this at scale for 1000s of users?
