How to "pause" a conversation
This would be incredibly valuable functionality if it was handled on HeyGen's end. This is not "interrupt" but rather a true pause.
In business environments using for role-play, this is super important because people are always taking calls etc.
When this happens, we'd also want it to stop billing until un-paused.
We were told we could simulate this now by using the interrupt command, see how much the avatar has said, and then when unpaused, kick off a call to play the text that was unsaid.
That would be fine, although we can't see how to do that. As far as we can tell, the only events are on which blocks the avatar has said, not what the latest word was. In theory we could pass HeyGen word by word text strings, but then the voices become very bad.
So obviously a full pause button would be great, but even if as a stopgap, if we press interrupt if we were able to request from HeyGen what words were said so far (which should be vey possible), we could handle the rest on our end until a more fulsome solution is implemented.
Any advice? This is super important functionality for us.
