Inquiry Regarding Using HeyGen API with Zapier under the New Unlimited Plans

Hello HeyGen Team,

I am interested in using the HeyGen API alongside Zapier to automate video creation. Recently, I learned that HeyGen has updated its subscription plans, eliminating the credit system and offering unlimited plans for video creation and editing.

However, I have a few specific questions about how these changes affect API usage:

  • Since the plans are now unlimited, how are API requests handled compared to the previous credit-based system? Do I still need to be concerned about credit consumption when using the API in non-test mode if I've already switched to an unlimited plan?
  • Using with Zapier: My goal is to integrate HeyGen with Zapier to automate video creation. Are there any special considerations I should keep in mind when setting up this integration under the new unlimited plans?
  • Limitations and Usage Caps: While I understand that the new plans are unlimited in terms of the number of videos I can create, are there any limits on the frequency of API requests or when using HeyGen in combination with Zapier that I should be aware of?
  • Additionally, I noticed that the API is stated to be available only with the Enterprise plan. However, with the Starter plan, I can create videos without a watermark. Could you clarify this situation and explain if the API can be accessed or used in any capacity with the Starter/team plan?

I would greatly appreciate your guidance to ensure that I am using the API optimally under the new plans. I am excited to explore the creative possibilities that this offers.

Thank you for your attention and assistance.

Best regards,
